Offset Solar
Terms of Use

Effective date: 6/24/26

These terms govern your use of offsetsolar.com (the “Site”), operated by OffSet Solar (“we,” “us,” “our”). By using the Site, you agree to them. If you don’t, please don’t use the Site.

What the Site is

OffSet Solar publishes independent reviews, comparisons, and buying guides for portable power stations, solar equipment, and related accessories. Our reviews are editorial opinion, formed from the evidence available to us at the time of writing. They are not statements of fact about how any product will perform for you.

Not professional advice

The Site is for general information only. It is not professional, electrical, safety, financial, or legal advice, and it is no substitute for it. Power stations, solar panels, and battery systems involve real electrical hazards. Always follow the manufacturer’s instructions, applicable codes, and — where the work calls for it — a licensed electrician. You are responsible for how you install, wire, charge, and use any product. Decisions you make based on the Site are made at your own risk.

Accuracy and changes

We work to be accurate, but we don’t guarantee that everything on the Site is current, complete, or error-free. This technology changes constantly: specifications, firmware, pricing, availability, and the products themselves are revised by manufacturers without notice, and a review reflects what we knew when we published it. We may change, update, or remove content at any time without notice.

The Site contains affiliate links, and we earn commissions through them. This doesn’t affect our recommendations. Full details are in our Affiliate Disclosure.

Our content

The content we create — reviews, written guides, comparisons, and the original text and layout of the Site — belongs to OffSet Solar. You’re welcome to read it, share links to it, and quote brief portions with credit. You may not copy, republish, or redistribute substantial portions of it as your own without our permission.

The Site links to outside websites, including retailers and manufacturers. We don’t control those sites and aren’t responsible for their content, products, or practices. Visiting them is at your own risk and subject to their terms.

Disclaimer of warranties

The Site and everything on it are provided “as is,” without warranties of any kind, express or implied — including accuracy, fitness for a particular purpose, or uninterrupted availability. You use the Site and rely on its content at your own discretion and risk.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent allowed by law, OffSet Solar is not liable for any loss, injury, or damages arising out of your use of the Site or your reliance on its content — including any purchase, installation, or use of a product informed by a review or guide. This includes direct, indirect, incidental, and consequential damages.

Acceptable use

Don’t use the Site unlawfully, attempt to disrupt or gain unauthorized access to it, scrape it at scale, or use it in any way that could damage it or interfere with others’ use.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. When we do, we’ll revise the effective date above. Continued use of the Site after changes take effect means you accept the revised terms.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of West Virginia, without regard to its conflict-of-law rules.
